Myo-Inositol in the UK: What It Is, the Blend Approach & Honest Claims
Inobalance Pro+ is a 9-in-1 food supplement built around myo-inositol and a set of well-known wellness ingredients, rounded out with four vitamins and minerals. Blends like this are popular with people looking to support everyday balance and vitality — but a nine-ingredient formula also makes it easy to blur what a supplement can actually claim. This guide lays out exactly what's inside, what the UK rules let us say, and what stays in the "interesting background" column.
What's in each serving
A serving is three capsules (1,765 mg total), and the tub holds a 40-day supply. Here's the full panel:
| Ingredient | Per serving | %NRV |
| Myo-inositol | 1,000 mg | † |
| Shatavari extract | 250 mg | † |
| Glutathione | 250 mg | † |
| Alpha-lipoic acid | 150 mg | † |
| Coenzyme Q10 | 100 mg | † |
| Zinc | 9 mg | 90% |
| Vitamin B6 | 1.2 mg | 86% |
| Folate (L-methylfolate) | 100 µg | 50% |
| Vitamin D3 | 4 µg | 80% |
† No Nutrient Reference Value established; no authorised UK health claim.
The signature ingredients (what they are)
Myo-inositol is a naturally occurring sugar-like compound the body makes and also gets from food; it's the headline ingredient here at 1,000 mg. Shatavari (Asparagus root) is a traditional Ayurvedic botanical. Glutathione and alpha-lipoic acid are compounds the body produces naturally, and coenzyme Q10 is found in nearly every cell. These five are the character of the blend — but it's important to be straight with you: none of them has an authorised health claim in Great Britain. You'll find plenty written about them, and that's fine as background reading, but a UK supplement can't lawfully promise a benefit from them, and we won't.
The vitamins & minerals — and what we can say
Where the formula does carry authorised claims is through its four nutrients, each supplied at a meaningful percentage of the NRV. These claims belong to the specific nutrient:
- Vitamin B6 (86% NRV) contributes to normal psychological function, the normal functioning of the nervous system, the regulation of hormonal activity, and a reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
- Zinc (90% NRV) contributes to normal fertility and reproduction, normal cognitive function, the normal function of the immune system, and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
- Folate (50% NRV) contributes to normal psychological function, normal blood formation, a reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and — relevant in pregnancy — maternal tissue growth.
- Vitamin D (80% NRV) contributes to the normal function of the immune system and the maintenance of normal bones and muscle function.
Reading the label honestly. If you see a nine-ingredient blend described as supporting "cognitive, nervous and metabolic" wellbeing, those words are only legitimate because of the vitamins and minerals above — not the inositol or botanicals. And there is no authorised heart-health claim for any ingredient in this formula, so we don't make one. When in doubt, trace each benefit back to a specific nutrient at 15%+ NRV.
Who takes it, and how
The serving is three capsules a day, which people often split with meals. Because the vitamin and mineral doses are already a large share of the daily NRV, be mindful of other supplements you take so you don't double up. If you are pregnant, trying to conceive, breastfeeding, taking medication or under medical care, check with your doctor or pharmacist first. Food supplements don't replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Quality & transparency
Humming Herbs lists every ingredient and its amount per serving with no hidden proprietary blends, so you can see exactly what you're taking — and check each nutrient's % NRV for yourself. Batch documentation is available on request.
